Volunteer at St John’s
We are always keen for people to volunteer to help with ensuring the church and church yard are well-kept and to run various activities. So please get in touch if you’d like to help.
Donation/Giving
We really value financial support to help us look after our buildings and grounds as well as to have sufficient resources to be able to provide services and activities for everyone.
Regular Giving

Parish Giving Scheme

Gift Aid
If you are a UK taxpayer, we can significantly increase your contribution by reclaiming tax under the Gift Aid scheme at no additional cost to you. UK Taxpayers can allow St John’s to claim 25p for every £1 donated.
Please download and complete a Gift Aid Form (PDF 90kb) and return to the Gift Aid Secretary or Treasurer by scanning and using email to: [email protected], or send the paper copy c/o St John’s Church.
The declaration covers all donations made in any form (standing order, cheques, cash) as long as they can be identified as coming from you.
Other Ways to Give
- By card or contactless payment via the card reader machine (set up near the main church door)
- By cash or cheque in the Wall Safe (set up near the main church doors at our services, UK taxpayers please use a Gift Aid envelope)
- By payroll giving (through your employer’s Give As You Earn scheme).
